One out of every ten children born in Israel is premature. How do you get through the first moments of panic? What are the consequences for the continuation of the children's lives? And who can help you, even if you don't really know him?

When Rumi Shouri gave birth to her daughter, she was 29 weeks pregnant and the baby emerged into the world weighing only 768 grams. "I had problems during my pregnancy," recalls Shouri. "As early as the 14th week, there was a gap of two weeks in growth, and throughout the pregnancy it grew, until it reached a gap of five weeks. At week 24, the doctors recommended terminating the pregnancy and said that the fetus probably has serious injuries that cannot be assessed as to their size. They also said that if we do not terminate the pregnancy, intrauterine death may occur, and if the child is born immediately, the chances of survival are close to zero.
