In Israel, approximately 15,000 premature babies are born each year. Alongside the medical challenges, there are families who need guidance, information, a listening ear, and a sense of security.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Lahav Association works to support parents, promote the rights of premature babies and their families, and bring about real change on the ground \u2013 in hospitals, with decision-makers, and in public discourse.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Most of our activities are based on volunteers from all over the country \u2013 parents of premature babies, professionals, high-tech workers, students, retirees, schoolchildren, and people who simply want to donate.<\/span><\/p>\n Everyone brings themselves \u2013 and we make sure to connect you to a place where you can do good.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Volunteering during peak times and projects<\/span><\/p>\n Social media<\/span><\/p>\n Visits to premature babies<\/span><\/p>\n Managing support groups for parents<\/span><\/p>\n Fundraising<\/span><\/p>\n Knitting octopuses<\/span><\/p>\n Participation in Knesset committees<\/span><\/p>\n Graphic design<\/span><\/p>\n Video editing<\/span><\/p>\n Professional support (by professionals in fields relevant to premature babies and parents)<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
