The book provides both information and support: information including tips for pumping milk and establishing an adequate milk supply until the baby is attached to the breast and arrives home, and support including stories from mothers about breastfeeding their premature baby.
La Leche League is an international volunteer organization that provides information and support to mothers on breastfeeding. La Leche League International is considered the ultimate authority on breastfeeding issues, and it advises health bodies and various organizations around the world. La Leche League volunteer instructors hold regular monthly meetings. In Israel, there are about 20 La Leche groups throughout the country.
