The Lehab association - for premature infants in Israel, is a nationwide association established by parents of premature infants in 2004.

The association's vision השגת שיפור מתמיד באיכות הטיפול בפגים, כך שיביא לצמצום ההשלכות ארוכות הטווח של פגות על חייהם של הפגים בעתיד.

The goals of the association לפעול למען הפגים בישראל בכל רובד המשפיע על חייהם ועל חיי בני משפחתם :

• העלאת מודעות – הסברה והנגשת מידע לבעיות הפגות ומצוקת הפגיות בישראל לרבות הפקת חומרי מידע והדכה ראשוניות לתמיכה ומידע להורה לפג באשפוזו ולקראת שחרורו

• קידום חקיקה הקשורה לזכויותיהם ורווחתם של הפגים 

• תמיכה וסיוע לרווחת הפגים ומשפחותיהם – הפעלת אתר אינטרנט, קבוצת תמיכה במדיות השונות, קו חם הפעיל 24/7 למענה על שאלות וצורכי ההורים והמשפחות וכן סיוע מול הגורמים הממסדיים וטיפול בבעיות פרטניות

העמותה, המתבססת על מתנדבים ותרומות, מעניקה את שירותיה ללא תשלום וללא תנאי לכל מי שזקוק להם.

Throughout the years of its activity, the association has reached many significant achievements, among others: extension of paid maternity leave for mothers of premature babies and sick babies, RSV vaccines, promoting the establishment of a breast milk bank in Israel, the Ministry of Health circular for the treatment of premature babies in the community, a dedicated allowance for premature babies and more.

15,000 premature babies are born in Israel every year. Every achievement of the association throughout the years of its activity touches in one way or another on every child and every family: whether in the cooler that you receive in Pagia, by contacting a hotline, in assistance in the exploitation of rights, in our various support groups in the various media, in octopus in Pagia or after it, and also in indirect ways, like all the rights "L.. that didn't exist before.

Membership fees allow us to continue working for premature babies in Israel and to ensure the continued existence of the association
