The moving tribute from the Scottish fans association

English translation following the Hebrew text

The national team's fans' organization usually gives a large donation to an association that helps children in every country where Scotland plays, and this time the Scots collected NIS 24,000 for the LB association that helps premature babies. The exciting moment - the check was presented by a Scottish fan who was born premature himself. LB's CEO Romi Shouri: "The association welcomes and is excited by the respectable financial donation given to it"

The Scotland national team's fan organization is very involved in charitable acts, and collects money from its members and donates to an association that helps children in every country where the national team plays. This time, the Scots collected a considerable sum of 5,000 pounds, 24 thousand shekels, and presented it to the Hebrew Association for Premature Infants in a special ceremony held at the "Mike's Place" pub on the promenade in Tel Aviv.

One of the fans who is a member of the organization, expired himself, handed Shhouri the donation check, when the association gave the organization a shield of appreciation and asked to thank the Scottish fans: "It is not obvious". The Scottish organization was very impressed by the association's work.

Lovely* Fans
For the large group of fans of Scotland's National Football Team, who arrived for attending the match against the Israeli National Football Team as part of the National League, held yesterday in Haifa, it was not enough to cheer their team. The Scottish fans are known as the Tartan Army, (named after the criss-crossed cloth, regarded as a cultural icon of Scotland), and this group, apparently, has a huge heart. The organization of Scotland's National Football Team fans has established a Charity under the name of Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal, dedicated for fundraising. The donations are granted to voluntary associations which are active in the service of children in each country visited by the Scottish Team.
Prior to their arrival in Israel, the organization members collected £5,000
(approximately NIS 24,000), and granted the funds yesterday to Lahav Society (Hebrew abbreviation of: "For the Premature Infants in Israel").
One of the Scottish fans, who himself was born as a premature infant on the 28th week of pregnancy, was the person chosen to grant the check to Lahav Society.
Chairperson of the Society, Romi Shchori: "The Society was deeply touched by the generous financial donation, to be entirely dedicated for purchasing equipment for the families at hospital wards for premature babies, as well as for supporting the ongoing activities aimed at improving the welfare , future and quality of life of premature infants and their families"

*Translator's note: The Hebrew word for Lovely (Hemed) was misspelled deliberately in the source text to convey the sound of another Hebrew word - Hemet, which translates as bagpipe, in reference to the Scottish national musical instrument.
